Adding dark leafy greens to your smoothie can be a bit intimidating because they can have a bitter taste. That’s why I regularly make fruit smoothies like strawberry and banana or blueberry smoothies, but I knew I had to add more veggies to my diet overall so that I am getting a well balance of nutrition in my diet.

This easy healthy green smoothie recipe was inspired by my favorite Suja – mighty dozen juice, but because it can get expensive, I decided to put my own mix to that recipe and make it at home. This smoothie is delicious, tangy and naturally sweet despite the kale thanks to the banana, mango and lemon. Bonus: It can potentially help your skin naturally glow!
