I used to love making salmon burgers before I decided to turn most of my meals into healthier versions with less oil and fat. So, with this recipe I pretty much used the same recipe except I swapped out the canned salmon for canned black beans and to my surprise it turned out really good. You can use any other beans you want for this recipe, but I prefer to use black beans. What’s great about this recipe is that you only need 4 ingredients and it takes less than 20 minutes to make it.

September 16, 2021 at 10:10 PMI’m actually quite impressed with this recipe and how easy it actually is. I’m slowly trying to move my diet to a healthier one since I have diabetes and I want to have better control of my blood glucose. Is the transition to becoming a vegan consumer a good start to someone who struggles with diabetes?
September 17, 2021 at 7:36 PMHey Stephanie! Yes, this recipe is very easy to make and that’s great that you’re making moves into a healthier diet. There has been studies that eating a whole food plant based vegan diet is great for helping with better managing and possibly improving diabetes. You don’t have to switch completely all at once though,
starting out doing meatless mondays is a great start before cutting back on other unhealthy foods. Just take it one day at a time 🙂
